Signing In!

On the first day of camp, the students meet at a school in the D.C. area to take buses to Frostburg. Once they arrive, the campers receive their keys, find their rooms, and unpack. The first evening activity of the week is Orientation. The students take a tour of the campus and learn the camp rules. Every camper is also assigned to a team for camp competitions. While groups are organized by age and gender, each team consist of boys and girls of all ages.

Daily Dose of Chinese Culture

Each day, campers participate in a number of cultural classes. The culture class teachers are from Taiwan and the Washington D.C. area. During the week, students learn how to paint bamboo and shrimp, make Chinese knots, toss a Chinese yo-yo in the air, dance with silk fans, and sing Chinese folk songs.
